HDFC Bank is in talks with Paytm to find a way out of the restrictions placed by RBI. Paytm is its long-standing partner in acceptance and aggregator business. HDFC Bank has seen increased traction for its payments app and merchant business since the restrictions on Paytm. The partnership is with One97 Communications, not the Paytm Payments Bank.
